Blinds By Design was founded in 1987 and has been owned and operated since then by Randy Perani. The company was started as a drapery and blind source for the residential market in Fairfield and New Haven Counties. After developing a strong reputation for window treatment and design solutions, the company expanded its offerings to include all window coverings and upholstery of room furnishings.

Shop-At-Home Service. In an innovative approach to providing high quality options to a wide variety of customers, Blinds By Design offers a shop-at-home approach. Working by appointment in the client's home or office, Randy can present a large selection of products and fabric samples for the client to choose from. This enhances the design component of the business as Randy can see first  hand not only the windows involved, but the entire environment. This is a  valuable piece in helping the client make a selection they will be happy with.

customer to receive top quality design services and products at a highly

By the mid-1990's the company had incorporated a commercial focus into its operations, to meet the unique challenges of developers, building owners and business owners. Today Blinds By Design projects may range from a single blind in the home or an entire commercial building.
